A petition to remove Jill Farren Phelps as Executive Producer of Young and the Restless

I've been watching the show for 27 years, and the last year has been the worst yet. The terrible storylines (Carmine Vasco, Stitch being a "murderer", Neil marrying a much younger woman he initially encouraged his son to date, a Cassie look-alike happening to show up in a small town ... I could go on and on) are painful to watch. I feel embarrassed for the actors having to portray these mindless tales. Even MAB, who I didn't care for, wrote better stories than what we've seen in the past months. The Y&R was always a well-crafted soap opera - it's not anymore. I have several friends and family who have stopped watching the show this year because they got sick and tired of watching the drivel. Changes need to be made to get the show to where it used to be. Replace Phelps with somebody better and get the Y&R to a level that we can respect again!

So unhappy with the show and the actor changes. I don't even remember the character history because I'm so unconnected to these actors!

Bring Back Adam no one else can play him better and bring back Billy To play Billy

Her changes were too many and too drastic. I simply cannot relate to the show...there's no continuity.

The story line seems to be stuck and draging out certain actors story line is taking forever.

The show has been awful since she took over and just gets worse the longer she's the writer.

I have been a fan of The Young and the Restless for years I'm just tired of these same story lines and keep on going on and she needs to go...

brother and father sharing the same woman is gross and negligent. this soap is failing me as a beloved soap lover for R and R. Mrs C would be disappointed as well. WE need our soaps back on track

I feel the same way, she has taken the show down hill. I used to feel the same way, the excitement would build and I couldn't wait to watch the next days episode.

Y&R has been an exceedingly good programs for years because of it's top-quality actors. Tuning in is getting more and more difficult at best with unfinished storylines, and storyline dragging out for months on end. Time to fire her. Obviously some of the actors are leaving on their own besides the ones who were fired , something is wrong.

Story lines are dragging too long. Enough with will Phyllis and Adam return, as well as the two paternity story lines (at least not 3 anymore). I pay more attention to my phone than the show when it is on. That didn't use to happen!

Bring back Michael hes Adam Newnam!!! This is crazy!!!

This show is no longer good. Quite frankly I'm 20 days behind on my DVR because it has no draw! As a SAHM I have a lot of time to watch anything. Y&R used to be it for me. However, I have found other things to watch ad JFP is not writing good plots, too many new cast members and nothing good going on. Michael M and Billy M kept me entertained. Neil is boring with this love triangle and so is Cricket! Come on! Write something Bold and new! Summer also needs to grow up. All of this is HORRIBLE writing on JFP part! Time for new blood or this show will get canned just like the other soaps!
