As Chinese New Year is coming soon, three days of holiday is definitely insufficient for someone who's living far away from home, for example students from Sabah & Sarawak. Price of air ticket will definitely be jacked up to RM1000 for one way which is absurd and burdensome to the students who needs to come back to campus during the peak season which is in the midst of Chinese New Year.
I hope the management can extend the holiday for Chinese New Year for the good of all students.

I really do hope that this 1Malaysia (Chinese, Malay , Indian) festival , MMU can give one week holidays for us. This would be the best time for all of the students keep in touch with their family. Some of the student can't even effort going back to their hometown every week. This is the best time for all of us to take this opportunity reunion with our family with a long holiday. Three festival per year, well, I am sure that this would be the golden time for all of us to going back HOME!

Let's just have peace and give us our holiday.
We deserve equal treatment even for festive reasons. Give all our friends, disregarding religion, a fair amount of holidays, as we were all tolerating so much about each other and make world a better place.
Even if we have lesser angpao because we have paid it to resource fee, we will be more obliged than ever to do so.
So yea, what to lose?
We've got holidays, you've got holidays too.
We lose money and you earn that too.

If all Malaysians are one, please make sure that if students get one week holidays for Hari Raya, students get the same days of holidays for Deepavali and Chinese New Year. We all need to celebrate our occasions with our loved ones. Despite all the works need to be submitted right after our CNY holidays but we only get 3 holidays including Saturday and Sunday for this year.

I strongly suggest that new year holiday for every ethnics in Malaysia should be equal. ONLY Fairness could make everyone happy
