We, the undersigned members of the South Windsor Fire Department (SWFD), call for the immediate resignation of Rabbi Jeff Glickman as Chaplain of the SWFD.

Rabbi Glickman’s recent controversial public comments, opinions and lack of understanding for concerns related to child welfare are detrimental to the reputation of the South Windsor Fire Department.

Furthermore, our Explorer Post members, their parents and future young firefighters should be able to expect that members and affiliates of the SWFD are committed to the highest standards of ethics and care, without exception.

The undersigned members of the SWFD demand that loyalty to truth and honor take priority over personal affiliations.
