Franklin county deserves to be number one at something in the state but highest property tax rate would not be the best marketing tool to bring business and citizens to or county.

Find money else where. This will hurt the working poor, seniors and unemployed.

I don't think this will help our local economy. Franklin Co already has an extremely high tax. A lot of growth is coming our way. Please don't run it off.

I would like to request that Franklin County not increase property taxes as Individuals in Franklin County are already struggling with other increases and the county already receives quite a large share as it is . All the other counties have done things for their people with their money and Franklin County or Youngsville cannot even get any decent restaurants(not fast food) to our area. They have not done anything to help the people for themselves but they all the time will ask for more money. I want to know for what this money is going. I know what Franklin County is going to use it for.....bigger salaries or use it for frivolous items for the different counties( give the city more police cars to have the police sit in at the grocery store or at the gas station.- instead of helping people that have need to have their property guarded to make sure it is not broke into or vandalized or arrest some of the people driving like maniacs or without insurance or licenses. I am positively against this increase.

High property taxes means lack of home sales. Lack of home sales means property owners will unite and go to Voting booth and elect new board members who will care about their citizens pocketbook!

A review of the budget shows no real need and many possibilities for cuts. Time to lower the taxes and not raise them.

Franklin County hasn't offered much to its citizens with what money they already have, and they want more? Not happy. I was hoping to establish my own business within my community, this will only set me back further. Bad move.

While no one likes a tax increase, sometimes it's necessary. That being said, I fail to see how a one time hike of over 13% can possibly be necessary, no matter what grand plans are being imagined for it.

No tax increase. Families cannot afford Amy more taxes. All families are not RICH! Think about the families that voted you in David Bunn. We supported you throughout your campaign.
