I live in an area where there is a strong Native American presence. I feel strongly that it should be reserved. Niagara Falls, Cheektowaga, Tonawanda, all the great lakes - these were all named to honor and respect our native forefathers. My high school was stripped of its Redskin logo. It was a travesty that has torn our town apart, even a year later, there is much anger and distrust here. Please leave the Redskin logo in Conrad and stop the eradication of native names and symbols.

As a Native American growing up in the State of Maryland, neighbor to the State of Deleware. I welcome the support of the Conrad School to preserve positive imagery of Native American Heritage in Schools. It is long been my vision to see a long overdue national curriculum on Native American history and culture in this country. Many of the alumni and staff of Conrad School share in this desire. In history it was the Warriors, the Redskins, that forge paths to new territory and it is only fitting that this Conrad School be called the Redskins.
