I strongly support this movement. So few people actually have the understanding of what many of these symbols mean

Change the name back to Redskins. I have never saw a game since you changed the name to Guardians nor will I until you return what was stolen from the Native Americans name Redskin. We see it as a respectful Heritage the name Redskin

Leave the name alone! The name is to honor the Chief Indian whom helped the white man when we first arrived here in the New World in 1587! This is our history as was depicted back to the Queen by John White. Read your history books folks! Class of 81 Manteo Redskins

The argument is absurd.

I revere the Redskins name & logo & consider it honorable to Native Americans... the exact opposite of deragatory.

I don't see the sense of changing manteo Redskin name UNLESS the lost colony is cancelled forever cuz that one sided live drama where white man pinned Indian brothers against one another so white man could steal their land. That play certainly is more hurtful than a sports team name. IF the team name is offensive than so is the town & village on Roanoke island cuz white man intentionally pronounces it wrong AND let's not forget the street names.... Can't just change the school's team name THAT would be prejudice NOT to change ALL that white man has capitalized off of from the Indians

This ridiculous attack on the use of Native American names and symbols must stop! We honor them by adopting their names and sumbols.

Keep the Red Raiders Logo and Name honoring Chief Okocho whose tribe lived on the banks of Spring Creek at the Bellefonte Area School District in Pennsylvania. Those who love our history and are part native Alumni will be offended if it is removed or replaced with something less important.
