A Lute for a Hero

I've been a long-time proponent of encouraging players to be kind to one another in game. On an RP server this is often easier than on PvE, etc, but a memorial lute by the city gate benches for Highlord Vradic, especially if it were clickable to play a brief melody, with a memoriam plaque, would encourage players on all realms (or at least North American servers). Be kind to one another, greet each other warmly, and interact well in the spirit of friendship and good gamership. We need more of that now than ever.

I really hope this goes through. Vradic loved world of warcraft, and everyone on it. I think this would be such a gift for him and everyone that knew and loved him

Though I did not know David personally, the spirit of his life and the works therein is evident in the way he has contributed to so many lives. I am inspired not only by the legacy he leaves behind, but by the countless individuals he touched along the way. May he rest in peace.

I'm sad I never met David or his character, he really sounds like a wonderful friend who will be dearly missed, and I'm sorry for your loss. This is a very touching and thoughtful little piece to honor his memory and it would be wonderful to see it being added to the game.

My toon is also on Wyrmrest Accord (Vikorina). She was Vradic's love and he was hers. In real life he suffered greatly battling Cancer yet he always checked on the welfare of others. It's a rare thing a blessing when you happen upon someone like Him. His toon Vradic was just as gallant as he was. Vradic in life meant so much to do many. His toon was also just as pivotal in many of our toons lives. To say we will be loss in real life as well as WOW life is an understatement. We his friends and his family (his daughter plays) ask for this small honor for him as it would have indeed made him smile. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

It is always sad to lose another fellow gamer and while I did not get to meet him and I no longer play I send my heart to those that feel his lose painfully close.

May you Rest In Peace, and may a lute placed in your honor guide you eternally, as faint whispers of songs sing your name for any who may stop and sit just as you did. Anu belore dela'na.

Long time alliance player but I started on horde. If what I read is true then a valuable member of the community was lost, and should be remembered.
