I met with the department head this morning to present the specific technical challenges outlined in our petition. While they have not reversed the decision yet they agreed to review our formal request for alternative presentation formats.

This zoom thing isn't going to help because of our poor local network services. Do you people even think about those who's parents or relatives have been infected by the virus, the pain and emotional distress they are experiencing.
It is difficult times and so is getting money to buy data coupled with bad network connectivity in certain areas. Please consider our plea and take PowerPoint document instead of a Zoom presentation. Thank you.
The presentation via zoom won’t be favorable to we the the students in remote areas. Using my myself as an example I have to walk several miles to get to the next community in order to secure a network even with that it’s not that that strong. Assuming I’m presenting and the network goes bad or maybe stops working I’m how am I going to be scored I beg to ask? This decision won’t be favorable to as as we might end up being marked down tho we have a good work to present so please this decision should be reconsidered
I only have a smart phone, no laptop. And my smart phone cant support this zoom app, besides network is very weak in my location.
What happens if I plug my laptop before I can use it? Does it mean when the lights go off then I e failed?

I don't think it's a good idea to have seminar on the zoom app. I do not have a stable network at my end and this may not favour some of us. I think we had seminar last sem and our performance was seen. Why dont we just submit our PowerPoint presentations for assessment then doing this seminar
