The NCAA reasons are lazy and stupid. Dwayne is the real record holder, and it's not close. Either accept some revisionist history or go back to not including bowls. Anyhting to have a fair comparison.

Retroactively, the NCAA needs credit the past players with their rightful stats, or discount all the current bowl stats. It doesn't seem too difficult to do so.

If the rules have been changed, then the rules need to be updated to reflect PAST statistics for all players in all of their games.

You can't recognize one person step for bowl games and not recognize another sin and Justice on the University of Wisconsin and Ron Dayne when will the NCAA stop punishing the Badgers it happens every year in every sport
