I was finally able to join the Rochester Youth Football League and Spaulding cheer. This is where I really learned that this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Cheerleading became a part of my everyday life. I was on an allstar team as well as high school. I was a varsity cheerleader all 4 years and captain for my senior year.

Little did I know I'd be coaching these same two programs many years later. Ive been coaching at Roger Allen Park the last 7 years and have acquired many top 3 trophies with my team. Some of these team members have gone on to cheer for Spaulding. Its a true dynasty.

In September of 2014 I received a phone call that would crush everything I worked for for so many years.

I received a phone call that I was no longer able to coach at Spaulding High School anymore and if I wanted more info I would have to set up a meeting with the superintendent. I did just that. He said he needed more clarity as to why I got fired from a credit union after 4 dedicated years. I explained to him that I was fired from this CU for careless errors such as transposing numbers, putting transactions in savings when it should have gone to checking. He wanted to make sure it didnt have to do with money suspicions which is understandable. I told him I would be happy to provide paperworkshowing these reasons. He denied them and said he figured it wasnt having to do with money and that he would get back to me and he neverdid.

After I explained to him why I got fired, I asked if I could still go to games to watch and attend senior night and he said no.

He has yet to contact me and explain to me why I am unable to coach. I have numerous emails saying he is going to contact me and talk to me but I never heard from him ever again.

I missed senior night - I missed cheerleaders I have coached since they were in 6th grades senior night for what seems to be a misunderstanding someone just doesn't want to deal with.

What's even more upsetting is that the Head Coach and Athletic director DO NOT have a say in this decision and want me back as well. They've also made efforts to contact the super and have turned up empty handed.

This isn't about me, this is about the kids.

These kids need structure and experienced coaches.

With the sport of cheerleading growing rapidly throughout the United States we need certified experienced coaches who know what their talking about and I am just that.

I am asking for your help in signing this petition to help me get reinstated as a Spaulding Highschool Spirit and Rochester Middle School Spirit Coach !

A wonderful woman once told me to always stand in my truth and stick up for what I believe in and this is something I truly believe in.
