Over the past 15 years I've been writing a script for a musical that uses Dixie Chicks music along with all of the characters from their songs. I've shown it to many people in the industry, reworked some of it, and it continues to be my pet project and dream. I contacted the Dixie Chicks manager 7 years ago and his office told me to produce the show through a non-profit and provide it to them for final approval and possible collaboration. Unfortunately before I was able to do that their manager retired. I have reached out to their current manager over and over again. Unfortunately I'm sure my emails go straight to the trash along with probably a lot of other emails. I understand this as they are celebrities (and my personal idols). For those of you who have read my script and others who believe this project sounds worthwhile please please please sign my petition! I hope to make the band/artists somehow aware of my project. I hope and believe they would approve of it. But even if they don't I need to do everything I can to at least try to get it in front of them and make my dream come true. Thank you for taking a moment to potentially help my journey.

The management team has ignored every single email I sent but this surge of support proves they cannot hide from us forever. We are building enough noise that they will have no choice but to acknowledge the passion behind this project.

Yes I listen to them every day they are the most beautiful song writers and singers along with instruments I play them most every day on Facebook I’m in and from Wayne,Oklahoma would love to be a part of the Dixie Chicks in Oklahoma I would protect and serve them all.
I hope in the script you add the influence their music has had on people across the world. I am from Uganda and their hit single Cowboy Take Me Away inspired me to play the violin which has since helped with my depression. I am sure their music has influenced other people across the globe.
