When it comes to saving the life of a child, no amount of money should be considered too much. Especially when parents sacrifice as much as they do to be able to provide their children with health insurance, they're already missing out on their child's life. I could not imagine having to work all the time to provide my children with health insurance to then have one of them diagnosed with a potentially deadly disease for my health insurance to then tell me that they would not help save my child's life...that would truly be devastating to say the least. No child deserves to die before their time, especially when they have the health insurance that's supposed to help them.

We are petitioning for the full funding of 5 year old, Faith's treatment
of Spinal muscular atrophy, which would improve her ability to breath,
muscular strength, and most importantly, increase her life expectancy.

Insurance companies should be ashamed of this. This is a family that pays insurance and can't use it for a LIFE SAVING TREATMENT for their daughter. I hope the person making this delicious never has to experience the pain and sorrow that these parents have had to. Everyday is a day of life for Faith....

Working in the medical field for over 10 years now, I know what short cuts insurances make and how they try to tell the doctor what to prescribe to the patient. This needs to stop! You are choosing money over a life. Shameful! Go get em LeeAnn and Faith!!!!
