A public pool would be great for our community and open jobs for teenagers as well. Great idea.

I've been aggressively in our city council meetings for over 15 years to please provide OUR youth with a NEW POOL.. we can build lakes, remodel downtown, build additional parks but NOTHING for our YOUTH in OUR community.. Our City Manager & Mayor should be ASHAMED of themselves... We as a community NOT just ONE person but all churches and neighborhoods should overwhelm the city council meeting with our demands to build a NEW POOL with OUR TAX dollars!

Learning to swim is expedient !!!!! LEARNING TO SWIM SAVES LIVES, and our community should have access to pools and this life-saving strategy.

I would love for my grandchildren to be able to enjoy a community pool like I did as a child. It would also be great to teach swimming lessons to children in the community and possibly save lives!

This so wonderful and greatly needed. I support , we had two now none. Never understood why they would close in both pools. The kids always looked forward to the summer because of the pool. I learn to swim in the city pool in Jenkinst High. All kids should learn this life saving skill. Yes Shirley this is a great thing.

This is so badly needed. Personally knew and loved 2 precious young African American children who tragically lost their lives in an accidental drowning. Sadly children here have no safe place to go to learn to swim. We need a local place where they can go and learn to swim and where parents can be taught water safety. Please consider this as a heartfelt plea for the safety of all our children.
