We definitely need a Grenadian consulate in New York and also to have a "Grenadian born national at the helm". Grenadians need to all stand together. By the actions of Keith Mitchell, Grenadians will soon need a visa to enter Grenada. Let's band together to get the New York Consulate reopen.

We thank every Grenadian nationals who wants to see the re-opening of our NEW YORK CONSULATE and Justice being served, and for helping us to make this goal a reality. Our goal is to get our New York Consulate reopen and fully functioning in the best interest of all Grenadians, with a Grenadian born national at the helm, who have our best interest of heart, and who will provide us with the necessary services relevant to us.Your support and intervention is critical to Consulate long-term sustainability, as our Diplomatic Community Hub here in New York.
Keith Mitchell NNP GOVERNMENT must be held accountable by we the people its supposed to serve. Mitchell talk about serving Grenadians in New York has nothing to do with reality..
The most pressing issue, is Grenada need to have our Consulate reopen, so people can have a place to go to receive the necessary help and.assistance provided to them from a Diplomatic point of view,
Together we open a new channel to voice the concerns of our people throughout New York and surrounding.
We are bringing a new way pf doing politics. Our Consulate had been serving is for Forty years
until Mitchell took it upon himself to closr.it, It was opened in response to a need to have more open-dialogue amongst our people.
When enough people come together, and they ate all saying the same thing
telling of their horrible experiences, speaking with one voice, then.certainly there's a lot more creeds. And right now, we are all Grenadian nationals, making our Voices heard in UNISON. We are the Voice of the Voiceless.
It's time to meet the needs of Grenadians, its about our DIGNITY,

I strongly support this effort. New York needs a Consular office. Grenadians do not have the benefit
of reaching out to the Consular in time of need or have questions.

Career consular officers can be identified by credentials issued by the U.S. Department of State, which bear its seal, the name of the officer, and title
2. Honorary Consular Officers:
As a matter of U.S. policy, honorary consular officers recognized by the U.S. Government are American citizens or permanent resident aliens who perform consular services on a part-time basis.

I wondered about this situation when I read it. I was a bit taken aback! I definitely support having Grenadians at our Missions, Embassies and Consulates.

This is the basic fundamental right of every Grenadian living in New York to get the necessary representation. The office in New York is closed and therefore it means that no Consular work should be undertaken at that office. Is the Washington office equipt to handle NY issues? How there is no out reach from them, no dissemination of information on issues affecting our National?
