I agree with everything Diana Lesperance wrote. I am not in a church right now as I have tired of trying to find a biblically based church. But I love God and study through the internet and pray for fellowship;.

As one who felt 'called out' from a leadership position in the Anglican Church for some of the reasons you write about I feel

I agree with this article wholeheartedly. I have a very much similar testimony. Me and my wife are now seeking to start a home church where solid biblical doctrine alone will be studied and shared. We see this as the greatest need of the hour in these days of burgeoning apostasy!

We are attending our 5th church in 6 years. Have left each one because of heretical practices, e.g., contemplative prayer or the use of false teachers or ecumenism. We stayed where we are now because we heard the real Gospel being preached. However, the last two Sunday evening services were replaced with the movie War Room, to "bolster your prayer life!" Say what !?? I will soon meet with the senior pastor and/or elder board about this travesty. Probably will be end up "hitting the dusty trail again."

The Lord is speaking to many about the deceptions we have held too, and the need to agree with God's truths and run- leave these falsehoods and cling to Christ only.The Lord has spoken through this writing.

Would love to find a true church in my area or a faithful home group. Not easy. I've gone to several churches in my area. I live in urban Portand, Oregon where the newer churches are "relevant" and cater to the young (I'm 61) or many mainline denominations are established. I also don't drive anymore. A home church close to me would be great, and I've tried to find one via internet but to no avail. I listen to internet sermons, which have been wonderful, but I miss fellowship. Some would say I'm being too picky, there is no perfect church as there is no perfect person. This is true, as I'm a living testament to that. Not looking for perfection, but truth. Thank you for the article. It cleared up some confusion.
