I'm signing and sharing this petition! Domestic Violence is a killer. There are not enough programs, safe houses and services to help those stuck in this deadly cycle of violence. Please share and sign the petition so we can make DV REFORM a priority. These issues need to be addressed NOW. We must be able to provide needed services for women and their children so they can feel safe, BE safe, get on their feet while being treated for the psychological, emotional and physical damage they and their children have sadly endured and suffered with over a period of time! Many years of verbal and physical torture and it breaks my heart! DV has affected me personally and my family's lives The lack of services, therapy, safe houses, money they need ALL contribute to the issues. Let's BREAK the cycle of DV. Be a voice for those manipulated, beaten, verbally tormented and to terrified to leave their abuser. May God Bless them and give them the courage and resources to break free!!

Oversight. Accountability. Direct services. Enough with the referrals. Make a move and make a difference!

Battered women and children have been forgotten, and cyberstalking remains unaddressed, while coalitions and programs remain willfully ignorant of these devastating issues. It's time to demand improved services.

Amen! Great work! I ask the First Lady to listen as this is precisely my experience and exact solution I’ve stated since this began in my case as well. I have mass evidence if no oversight as well. Stop funding without oversight.

When a victim decides to use their voice, it may be the one and only time. Believe them. Serve them. Protect them.

I was fired last week after being stalked for 4 years at work. HR kept making excuses for his behavior. I educated myself about stalking, referenced the workplace violence policy and reported to HR that I believed he was escalating. I was fired about 10 days later. He was fired the same day. I believe I was retaliated against for forcing them to confront the issue.

Cyberstalking laws need a change. I am being cyberstalked to this day. This is not a victimless crime. Severe penalties need to be enforced and actions of cyber stalking, cyber harrassment need to be taken seriously.

I am being cyber stalked and what is going on in law enforcement is horrible. No one takes me seriously. Things have got to change and soon!

Too many head honchos addressing dv are more interested in their personal bank accounts rather than providing services for victims in danger. The salary of the head of FCADV is more than $7000,00 a year. !!!

In NY There have been several complaints as well. For an organization that is supposed to be there to help the people, it seems more that they stand in the way of doing more to help PREVENT domestic violence. Their lame excuses for not wanting a registry only started after the man blocking the bill in our NYS Assembly was no longer there to block the bill. They have no real reason. They only say " We are not sure if it will work", then why not try it? What is their real agenda. People are getting fed up with the Coalitions all over.

I am not sure if my electronic signature worked a few months ago. I am a Victim now Survivor of Domestic Violence. My abuser is my now ex husband. This Friday Match 30, 2018 will mark my one year anniversary of secretly and safely escaping my abuser. My Domestic Violence Shelter Therapist, my Psychiatrist and Police Advocates encouraged me to create a safety plan after the first time my abuser hit me, was arrested and sent to the correctional facility until he bailed himself out the next morning. I thank God every day for these Professionals basically forcing me to create a plan and notify the most trusting emotional support advocate I know - my only sibling and yoonger brother. I called my brother and said I had a stupid request. I asked if he would be my ESA if I needed him for support and how much advanced notice did he need. He said two weeks. I told him it was a formality and I will never use the plan I explained to him. Nine months later I nearly lost my life to the bare hands of my abuser. If I did not have the therapy and survival skills I was taught by my Professionals I would have not lived to use that “stupid” escape plan. I called my brother on March 27th, 2017 and I said two words “plan on”. He said he would see me in three days. I arranged everything through first my psychiatrist to see if I could mentally do the most dangerous thing in my life at age 51. He said I was more than ready. I called my state’s reparations officer. Sent an overnight check to my parents- my safe destination- to deposit into my personal bank account my abuser did not know about. My brother was able to purchase a one way airline ticket. I already hired a moving company and reserved a U haul truck with car dolley. My convicted, sentenced 3rd degree Felon DV/Assault abuser who pled Guilty left at 3:30 pm on March 30, 2017 for his 3 hour court ordered domestic violence anger mgmt psychiatrist’s appt. i had nothing boxed or packed. Only in my mind. I was taught to not give him a

After 15 years of abuse I made it out with very little help from any agency or domestic violence. My phone had trackimg devices and was told my local law enforcement that it was marital property no charges. My abuser in turn filed false charges on me. No legal help or adequate legal help and ended up having to pay out of pocket for an attorney.
