With civil servants racking up 666 sessions a day on her poetry blog site you would think they were issued with a prescribed poetry reading list. This raises further concerns that the political neutrality of Scotland's civil service has been tainted by this domineering poetry government. I have submitted another Freedom of Information request to find out how many words rhyme with Sturgeon on the Scottish Parliament website to finally prove how Liz Lochead has infiltrated the very fabric of the Government and to preserve freedom of speech she must be fired from her post as Makar and have all her works locked away from impressionable voters who might start to think.

Back in your box, you whining Jocks. The referendum is over, we won. Nurse, I need my medicine now. Nurse? Hello? I am so very lonely.

I'll tell thee what. It's bad enough they've got a Jock doing this job, but one of them cybernationalists to boot. Bring back the birch. That'll sort the beggars out!

Good grief, we in Scotland, especially we of us floating above Scotland and gloating, must really be represented by those sanctioned by the right thinkers, that is, the right wing. Let us speak of the former glories of Britain in our arts, and ignore the dire mess all around. It's the proper way. Rule Britannia!

Danke, Schottland: at last, your fearless tune-mongers and dazzling broadsheet gossipists have cracked the aesthetico-political antinomy. You have my envy and my thanks. Fucking nice one boys! Aye yours, Theo. PS - art is condemned to provide the world as it exists with a consolation that — shorn of any hope of a world beyond — strengthens the spell of that from which the autonomy of art wants to free itself. The principle of autonomy is itself suspect of giving consolation. But nice one all the same!
