Housing and safe spaces for the vulnerable in our society is something that I believe will make our cities stronger. A place to have as a relief from the hardships of interpersonal interactions from the wide variety of sources. The interactions from the staff at st stephens were there for me and I will stand for the essentials of life that we are all born to have. After all it is all of humanities planet.

Mr. Tory, please take this letter seriously...we desperately need your support to make this city a better place for all. Please show you care about ALL of your constituents and help protect those who are most vulnerable. Thank you sir.

more affordable, accessible, liveable housing now! Shelters are not housing and they are not liveable.

Under the harris government Toronto was saddled with the costs of welfare. This is an impossible burdon for a cityand the poor and homeless suffer. Mr. Tory , youwere a supporter of thatgovernment. The situationfor the poorandhomeless will not be alleviated unless the provincial government takes back it's responsibility for welfare. Can we count on you to do due deligbenceand understand that the harris policy was short sighted, mean spirited and was harmful A world class city shows kindness, compassion and provides the necessities of life for all in meed. Can we count on you to fight for the necessary support from the provincial government to take back welfare. this will free up money for other city necessities.

We have a Humane Society for animals, but not for human beings. This is a disgrace to all Toronto residents, and we must change it. I hope you will take the lead to make this a city that has a great HEART.

We have a responsibility as a community to provide basic safety to others. A person experiencing homelessness is no exception.Truly anyone can wind up on the street and they need a safe place to go. We owe it to our community to do whatever it takes to provide that space.

I would like to thank OCAP for keeping this issue front and centre. I was pleased to hear on the CBC that you take this issue seriously.
