Please allow the former Hess site to remain undeveloped for commercial purposes. If it must be developed, please link it to the Urban Wild and extend the healthy, natural beauty of the East Boston Mystic River waterfront.

Not preserving coastal land is the same to putting people and marine lives at risk.

Third attempt from Edith G. De Angelis from Peabody, Ma... Please do not lose.
We must environmentally and historically protect and preserve the former Hess site on Condor Street. Mayor Walsh and his Administration must remove the DPA sand MER designations in order to keep all polluting and undesirable developments off that site, and, designate the Chelsea River, including the Hess site as a BOSTON LANDMARK and on the NATIONAL REGISTER OF HISTORIC PLACES. Vacant for over 60 years, in its current state, it is alive with birds and wildlife and enjoyed by the neighbors. The community must have access to open green space and to our waterfront! Massport must meet their responsibility and obligation to "replace" World War Park desecrated with Wood Island Park to HONOR and Memorialize all East Boston Veterans from 1775 to the present day!

Why was my signature not accepted? This is annoying! This is the second time I took the time to write a thoughtful "Comment" which quickly disappears. Can you find it and print it as I typed it, and, you can also put it on Face book. Please resolve this situation. Thank you. Edith De Angelis 9/17/16

Save our shore. Stop developing without a master plan. Save our community from the bra.

What is currently on the site is far better than any of the currently proposed uses.

This historical area of East Boston called Eagle Hill borders entirely on the Chelsea Creek. Eagle Hill is the only area of East Boston that is undeveloped with Parkland. The fact that one of the most Historical Battles took place along its shore line. The fight for Enviornmential Justice continues, with the surrounding of Health Hazards from the huge holding facility of Jet Fuel of Logan International Airport. It Further results in higher Homeowner Insurance rates. We are in a very dangerous area. Health wise and Enviornmently this is unacceptable. With a huge population of more than 15,000, most of who. Are minorities, we must fight for the Enviornmential Justice and realize the serious deformations that have jeopardized our Health and disrespected our History which is documented in the Library of Congress.

The City should show some consideration for this neighborhood's lack of waterfront access, it's desire for a historical designation, a remediated resource site, etc.
