Look at, say, Chomsky, who relentlessly criticizes and blames the US government. They let him do it. That's strength! For those who follow this page, here are some updates regarding the arrested students (all of them are mathematics students at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow):
1) Danila Alenin received a jail sentence of 10 days on Feb 4
2) Alexander Gambashidze received some kind of a jail sentence on Feb 3; the length of the jail sentence is redacted out in the court decision
3) Andrey Preveev received a jail sentence of 10 days, on Feb 3
4) Arseniy Aristarkhov received either a jail sentence or a fine on Feb 4 (the text of the court decision has not been published yet)
5) Pavel Tomas received 10 days in jail on Feb 3
6) Yuri Arutyunov received 7 days in jail on Feb 3
7) Ilya Dumanski received a jail sentence of 10 days on Feb 1
8) Alexander Popkovich received a jail sentence of 10 days on Feb 1
9) Alexei Piskunov received a jail sentence of 10 days on Feb 1
