Let's Ask Doug Ford and the Ontario government to obligate auto insurers to pay for your treatment following a car accident FIRST and stop auto insurers from draining, and emptying your personal work benefits.

Dear Doug Ford and the Ontario government,

Please stop auto insurers from draining, and emptying our personal work benefits and oblige auto insurers to pay for treatment from a car accident first!

Our Work Benefits should not pay for injuries due to a car accident!.

This petition asks the Ontario Government to change the regulations forcing us, the people of Ontario, to exhaust their rehabilitation work benefits before accessing funding from the auto insurance for a car accident.

Only in Ontario. Almost no other Jurisdiction in the world asks us to dig into our work benefits when we are involved in a car accident.

This isn't fair!

We believe as citizens of Ontario we should have a right to choose when the work benefits we pay for should be used. We believe we should not be forced to exhaust them as a result of a car accident. We believe car insurance should pay for treatment following a car accident.

No other jurisdiction in the world asks its' citizens injured in a car accident to pay for their own rehabilitation out of their work benefits!

We believe having to go through a person's work benefits for a car accident causes undue hardships on local therapy clinics that provide care to injured motorists by significantly increasing the invoicing administrative burden and red tape.

We believe people should have their work insurance available to them if an auto insurer denies their treatment as a secondary safety net.

It is unfair that the auto insurer requires them to use their work benefits first!

We believe that the AUTO INSURER and not the person's work benefits should be the primary payee for injuries sustained in a car accident.
