We do not live in Woodlake, we chose to join Woodlake simply for the tennis. My husband is the GM of Mercedes Benz of Midlothian and has been a corporate sponsor for Woodlake's tennis program....because of Rene Mendoza. Rene is a reflection of what Woodlake is all about...community, respect and a passion for tennis!

I know Renee as a dad in the community. Our families both moved into standing oak in 2000. We met at the bus stop many years ago. His family is amazing. Two of our children's ages match so we saw them often at Woolridge all the way through our time at Cosby! Both Olivia and Paul are great young people and I feel that is a reflection of their parents strong values and love and support. I am sure that Renee carries those same characteristics into his job at woodlake. Of course Woodlake SRC needs his passion and expertise to continue to grow their program! KEEP RENEE!!

Rene is one of the reasons my daughter started playing tennis when we moved here. He loves the game, the members and the community and it shows. He's not just a good coach, but also a genuinely good person.

We have been a part of the Woodlake tennis community for many years. Rene has taught both myself and my oldest and has been a major force of encouragement. The tennis community will suffer a catastrophic loss if he is permanently gone.

The unprofessional manner in which The tennis pros were treated needs to be addressed and rectified.

How,much more upheaval and turmoil does the WCA wish to cast upon Woodlake? Rene has been loyal to tennis and your community. I used to be a member as a non-resident for years but found a lower fee elsewhere as non-residents pay more dearly.
Stop allowing an opportunistic outsider to stir the pot and show THAT one the door!
Stop being foolish WCA unless you wish to see another exodus of club members.

Rene Mendoza is a significant person in my life. He got me back in to the game of tennis after putting down a racquet for 20 yrs. he also teaches my son private lessons. His gentle ways and his ability to communicate and teach my son has had a profound effect. Outside the court my family considers him a dear friend.
I love Woodlake tennis because of the people and the friends I've made but also because of Rene's presence and leadership at the courts. To lose him as our director of tennis would be devastating not
only to me and my family, but to our tennis community as a whole.
I urge you to please consider keeping Rene as Woodlake's director of tennis so our tennis community can continue to grow and have fun on what I consider the best tennis courts and complex in the area.
