This is a safe space that students and academics enjoy a like. Wendy is a hard working member of the university providing a vital service to many. Why one of the most prestigious, rich universities in the world seems to constantly be looking for ways to make valuable employees work conditions worse and make them feel devalued is truly perplexing. After being there for 3 years though this is no surprise.

I don't know who you are. I don't know what you want. If you are looking for ransom I can tell you I don't have money, but what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long time spent at Byte Cafe. Skills that make me a nightmare for people like you. If you let Wendy stay that'll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you, but if you don't, I will look for you, I will find you and you know what follows.

As one of the larger faculty buildings it would seem crazy not to have a cafe in kilburn.

A blunder for sure if the cafe were to be removed. Don't be clowns.

Please save the byte cafe. It's one of the only nice places in Kilburn and it would affect the experience of many students to lose it.

Wendy is vital to the Kilburn Building and it would be such a shame to lose her. If you see this, go and buy a coffee from her!

Wendy is the heart and soul of Byte Cafe. She is a friend to both students and staff. & A lady who constantly works above and beyond her call of duty.

I'm writing this to make my voice heard that the Byfe Cafe should not be closed. I quite often enjoy buying great beverages while having friendly meetings with my colleagues at the Kilburn Building. Closing the cafe will make it difficult to make such meetings internally and I will have to go outside the building to meet my fellow students which wastes valuable time and this is something I do not like. This situation is in conflict with the University strategic 2020 plan in the sense that the closure of the cafe will affect my campus-based experience as a student. If the University administration does care about its students' experience, it should not close the cafe.

I am informed that the Byte Cafe is under threat of closure. This would be a great loss, both to the experience of our students, and also to the research culture of our department. The Byte Cafe has a real buzz about it, not so much now in August, but during term time and in the early summer. Students meet there and eat there, staff are meeting there with colleagues, and academic research staff meet there with external visitors. The value of the Byte Cafe goes well beyond the money it brings in. It contributes to the goals of the University by facilitating collaborations and interactions. Please look beyond the bottom line of a finance sheet and preserve the Byte Cafe which is of true value.

We use this cafe almost everyday, its a place we can have informal meeting whilst enjoying a nice drink. Would be a shame not having that space.

Couldn’t do without and handy coffee shop and more importantly the lovely, friendly Wendy. She makes taking a break for a cuppa an absolute pleasure!
