This is an important facility for meeting visitors, colleagues, and the students who just need to be sat down with a nice cup of tea to get over their woes. I'm sure that such things will not have a column on the spreadsheets but I hope that whoever makes these decisions doesn't just see the Cafe as a profit centre.
(And Wendy is such an asset...many a stressful day is made less so by her positive attitude to pouring something as simple as an Americano!)
