It would be a terrible shame to lose such an iconic cafe and to lose Wendy who is always so kind and brilliant with staff and students alike!

In a sea of corridors and rooms with no windows - Byte Cafe and Wendy are the thing which makes Kilburn a much better place. It gives visitors, staff and students a meeting place - a social environment. It must stay - PLEASE!

Wendy, we all love your lovely face and the minutes we spent at your shop counter take a lot of our programming stress life.

This has to be a joke right? Byte Cafe is one of the greatest things about the Kilburn Building and is almost the sole reason why the place isn't dead in the first place. I'm an early guy at the uni, I usually get there for about 8:30am and I see Wendy every morning, she is dedicated and clearly shows that she absolutely loves the work she is doing! She is the reason why this place is still working, and by closing it, it will also limit the work output of the student AND the staff around. DO NOT CLOSE THE BYTE CAFE! #SaveByteCafe #SaveWendy

Stop treating the University as a big money making corporation and focus on what's good for students and staff. Byte Cafe definitely must stay!

It is a key part of the unique community of Kilburn which has become a huge part of my university life, and others. It is so important to have Wendy, who is so lovely, as a constant face for first years in a large department. I ask what elements of the Byte cafe make it financially unsustainable and what can we do as student body (and Computer Science as a whole), to protect our cafe?

The Byte Cafe is the only cafe in Kilburn building. It's the place we meet our colleagues and students. It's the place we can relax and enjoy our coffee. The university should not be profit driven and closing the Byte Cafe means we are going to lose our community and our sense of place.
