Laying her off was one of the worst decisions ever. Especially not even letting her say her goodbyes. Does she not at least deserve that? She was kind and down to earth. Big mistake. Big. Way to go Bell!

This shows that CTV doesn't understand the Ottawa viewers. We want what CJOH, Max and Carol Anne created - a trusted, community oriented news team that viewers could relate to. We don't want a stiff talking head like we are now left with. Shameful that they fired Carol Anne and insulting that they underestimated Ottawa viewers.

I guess I'll have to give up the Ottawa CTV station. They didn't even have the common decency to allow her a gracious exit and allow us all to say "good bye".. CTV is a "classless act"!!

This was a horrible thing that was done to Carol Anne. I know that alternate solutions could have been found. If she is willing to work for a company like this, again, she deserves to be brought back.
