The evening news is not the same without Carol Anne....bad decision to let her go, why so many women lost their job in your organization shameful!!! I just might stop watching you news and go to CBC instead

I don't quite understand why Carol Anne was fired and Graham Richardson is staying when she has more years on the job and does so much for the community. It doesn't seem fair to me.

This is a huge loss. Carol Anne brings the compassion that others don't. That's a big difference from other broadcasts.

Carol Ann Meehan is Ottawa! She's a wonderful ambassador for our city and a leader for our kids. Its horrible how she is being treated by the "big boys". How can someone who gives so much to this community be taken so badly. Karma will catch up. Stay strong Carol Ann - we are behind you 100%

How dare you! It's 2015 and the new boy's club at CTV Ottawa looks so outdated and stodgy now. I tune in at 6pm every day and then switch channels immediately to CBC or Global. And will continue to do so. Eventually ratings will tank, sponsors won't be interested because of poor ratings and then what? Hope you're enjoying what you've done. Time will tell and you'll see that the Ottawa, Gatineau, and Valley community were right.

I think it is horrible that the personality that I have come to look forward to seeing every evening is just another statistic! Shame on Bell Media in being so callous and out of touch with their viewers. I am changing my viewing habits!

She embodies warmth, humanity and compassion. She was a welcome friend coming into our homes each night...she wad real...she showed and shared her emotions with us! She was that special daughter, sister, aunt, granddaughter who made us laugh or cry...please bring her back!
