I understand the politics and the risks, but removing folks like this from positions in the public eye with no advanced warning and no opportunity to "sign-off" is just plain mean-spirited. I suspect you didn't expect such a response.

How do you justify laying off two full time, senior anchors who have been loyal to CJOH & the viewing audience for twenty-six and twenty-seven years? Not only is this ethically irresponsible on Bell's part but also extremely sexist as a man who has only been there for FIVE years gets to keep his job. If this is how Bell treats it's dedicated employees and senior ranking leading woman then I have lost all respect for your brand. You will not be getting my viewership or my consumer dollars.

Please do not let this Ottawa face go. If you let her go its like letting max keeping and other long time Ottawa loyal workers go. Max would not be Happy.... Everything started with max and Carole Anne is at the top of her field. This is going to be a bad decision

How could you let such a wonderful anchor go?? She is an integral part of Ottawa and as she is no longer part of Bell Media it is so long to Bell Media and hello CBC .

I totally disagree with the way Carol Anne has been treated. I have stopped watching CTV Ottawa and listening to CFRA. Do the right thing - bring her back !!!

It is a disgrace to the broadcasting industry to have people at the top show no regard for loyalty. They have no sense of community and what Carol Anne brought to people in the Ottawa Valley. The person who they should have let go would have been Graham Richardson who does not even come close to knowing our city. Carol Anne will be fine, I know she received a decent payout and some luck firm will bring her on board. Stay strong !
