Carol Anne should have been named anchor when Max retired instead of bringing Richardson in from Toronto. It seems TV News is still an old boys club. Most of the layoffs were women. Richardson should have gone before her. Bring her back!

I'm really disgusted, not only by the firing of a beloved news personality, but by the way it was done. No chance for a farewell; no gratitude for 27 years of loyalty; no thought for the audience who watched each night. Money, money, money. Maybe Bell Media should lay off some of its high priced executives in Toronto instead. You've lost this viewer because of this heartlessly wrong decision.

Bell Media... Shame on you. .Carol Anne Meehan deserves more respect then a lay-off after over 20 years of dedicated service to her community. Does loyalty and dedication mean nothing to you. It's all about money..
Not only have you lost two wonderful reporters you will lose viewers too.

As a Bell stock holder for many years I am completely disappointed in Bell's support of their employees obviously going after those with seniority to open spaces those they can get for less. Shame on you.
