I am truly disheartened to learn that Bell Media would remove such an icon from our local news. I will be switching to CBC news starting immediately.

Please rethink...... Carol Anne is a legend. We love her and have watched her journey thru the years. She is a tremendous asset to you... Whose decision was this..... Not toooo swift.

Bell Media, I really question your decision to let Carol Anne Meehan go. She and Max were CTV Ottawa news at six. Max is gone and now Carol Anne. It's like rubbing salt in the wound.

I think laying off Carol Anne was a big mistake. She was really connected to the community. My wife & I will miss seeing her face and hearing her voice. While I do respect Graham and like his work thus far, I think a city like this one needs a dual-anchor representation: it's Canada's capital!

We have all of our services with Bell. Actions like this will cause us to switch everything to Rogers. Not impressed.
