I lived in ottawa for 8 yrs and the only reason I watched CTV was because of carol anne, she is a wonderful anchor and I miss the way she delivered the news. She deserves her job back. If she wants her job back she should be handed it on a silver platter.

Carol-anne is as much a part of the community as she was a part of CJOH. She gives of herself to the community just as Max did. Shame on Bell Media not well thought out.

Bell Media appears to be owned by Harperites and Republicans...hence the implant of Richardson, and now the ousting of Meehan---not CON enough for its propaganda purposes. Your communities may learn not to trust anything you try to say you know.

I am skeptical that this will help, or that she would even agree to return after such shoddy treatment, but I want to voice my anger towards CTV and Bell Media. CBC looks better every day.

This is disgraceful Bell Media! You should be ashamed of making such a mistake. Carol Anne Meehan is a very important part of not just Ottawa, but your entire viewing area and your company. She brings compassion and professionalism to the evening news - qualities that many journalists lack. Your evening news will suffer greatly without this highly respected and extremely valuable personality. She is the reason most of us tune into your Ottawa station. Your choices in journalists for this area have weakened and quite frankly, I will choose to watch another station if she leaves.
