Carol Ann was a great anchor who has been committed to ctv for a long career. Getting rid of her so quickly & carelessly makes me want to not support this channel any more. This is beyond ridiculous. Give the woman her job back!

I've already sent an email to CTV, but I just feel the need to make my feelings known. I completely get and understand the financial decision for cutbacks...it is a part of our culture and everchanging world.
I am 46 soon to be 47 years of age, and have been watching CJOH, now CTV Ottawa all of my life. Max Keeping and Carol Anne Meehan have been a very large part of my news watching experience in Ottawa.
I don't think that CTV realizes the small town that Ottawa is. I don't think I can continue watching CTV news Ottawa...it's nothing against Graham at all, I like him, but the fact that they would not give Carol Ann the opportunity to "resign" rather than get axed, is not something that I agree with, or that I can reward with my continued patronage.
Very disappointed in how this was handled....
