Carol Anne Meehan's a terrific local new anchor and valued member of Ottawa community. After 28 years of loyal service she deserved much better than way Bell Media treated her today.

Carol Anne deserves this job! She was with them for 27 years, and they didn't even let her say goodbye? They didn't even SAY A SINGLE THING about her being gon, and posted ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on their page about her being gone. Just tossed her aside like she was last night's trash. Give carol anne her job back! She is 6 pm news!

I think it's disgusting that Carol Anne was "laid off." I personally cannot stand Graham Richardson, which means I will no longer be watching the CTV news. Carol Anne has seniority! Why was she the one let go?

She made the news bearable to listen to. Her sense of humour and personality is what kept me watching. Graham just doesn't have it to go it alone. I won't be watching anymore. So disappointed!! Another screw up by Bell

Give Carol Ann her job back. She is an amazing role within our community. Been watching her on the news almost my whole life. She is the 6pm news without her you are nothing. Will not be watching anymore will get my news from CBC news from now on if Carol Ann is not on. Will also unlike all pages on social media. I will also me switching to Rogers.

She has been part of this community for a long time..she has fone so much for us and she has always been very professional even at the worst times..
