Carol Anne Meehan is the soul of CTV Ottawa. She is the LAST person who should be laid off! Bell Media doesn't seem to know its market with decisions like this.

Unbelievable! Local anchor woman who has served our community her entire career is not recognized for her years of serving our community. All those that were let go in Ottawa had been with us for the majority of their career. Where is Bell's loyalty to their employees and customers who support this organization? Seniority, dedication, attendance should be the first consideration. Not the boys' club syndrome.

I will not watch CTV until Carol Anne returns. Her personality, smile and wonderful presentation, along with a passion for our communities is why I watch. No Carol Anne, no CTV in my household.

One door closes and another one opens. Your loss CTV. This woman is a staple in our community .Not to mention she is a vision of strength. I would bet money that in all her years of service she has given you nothing but hard work and dedication and has most likely put her job before herself on more than one occasion! Whatever happened to common sense?? If it is not broken do not fix it !

I guess it means nothing to have given 27 years of your life doing what you like then they show you the door. Wow, what gratitude!

Typical Bell! They should practice what they preach regarding mental health all the while treating their employees past and present with mental abuse! Just ask any employee how they were and are treated ! The Corporate staff is living good while they treat the employees who make them their huge salaries , benefits etc like pions with ninth no remorse for their physical or mental health.
