I highly respect and value Carol Anne Meehan and will follow her and support her in all of her future projects. I hope Bell Media rethinks their decision to fire her.

Very bad decision. Probably the beginning of the end of local news. Not interested in hearing the local news of Toronto!

Give her her job back! I'm getting so damn sick of your Bell. Ever since you sold out to the Americans you have been going to hell. How about listening to the Canadians that built your company into the giant monstrosity it is now?

A shame to have this happen before the holiday season to a family person and community institution.

She has been a part of the news as long as I can remember. She has used her Celebrity to better the community. She is likable and amazing at her job. Getting rid of her will cost bell more than it saves because many people will stop viewing the news in protest. I also can't help but notice tonight it was all men at the table, anchor, sports and weather. Don't think that will go unnoticed by the viewing public.

Carol Anne is an absolute treasure. Ottawa needs more genuine people like her. A dreadful mistake in not keeping her in this position. Please do the correct thing and give her this job back. Your viewership will definitely suffer if you don't do the right thing.

She is an integral part of ctv and they are fools to have let her go.
