Bell Media has no class. Didn't even give her a chance to do a proper sign-off with her viewer's on the air. #corporategreed maybe it's time to switch to CBC!!!!

Carol Anne is an institution in our town (Ottawa) She has had the same impact on our city as our beloved Max Keeping. With the tragic loss of Max this year, taking Carol Anne away from us, from our televisions, from our dinners, from a part of our families is cruel, unjust and shameful. Just to save a few bucks so you, Bell Media can stay number one in the country. Heartless and disgusting. Business doesn't have to be like that. There is more to life than the all mighty dollar. When you die, you won't have your money and power to take with you to the grave. That won't matter. But, what you can have is peace and happiness. Peace and happiness in knowing that you kept Carol Anne Meehan on the air which in turn brought happiness to millions of Canadians and the entire City of Ottawa. Our capital city no less. You want people to watch your television shows? You want loyal viewers? You want to make money and be number one in the country? Then keep Carol Anne Meehan on the air. Without her, you'll lose millions of viewers. Not just viewers of the news, but viewers of your entire network. Believe me, this whole city as well as most Canadians WILL walk away from all Bell media unless you give her her job back immediately. If you keep her and her counterparts of the air, not only will you not be number one in the county, but your business will fail. Replacing her with people no one cares about will make people want to watch Bell media shows even less. Give us the viewers, the people who pay your salaries and give you a job what we want. Our Carol Anne back on the air. You do and you'll keep your viewers and stay number one. Isn't that what we all want here?

Bell Media does local communities grave injustices. Laying off dedicated long-time employees and ridding itself of local news in an endeavour to increase its already substantial bottom line is disgraceful and greedy. I think not only should people boycott CTV but also consider cancelling their other media devices such as Telephone, Mobile, Internet and TV Services. There are other providers!

I want Carol Anne Meehan to be restored as 6pm anchor CTV 7(13) It's time to stop Corporate Bullies and Rich Shareholders to Ruin Lives of Hard Working Canadians She volunteers her services etc and Is Equivalent to Watching Lloyd Robertson when he worked the CTV National News. He was treated with dignity...WE WANT CAROL ANNE BACK...that's if she'll have us. Sincerely Barbara McKenzie,. Nepean Ontario.

I have always enjoyed watching Carol Ann Meehan, I am saddened by the insensitive move that fired her. I remember when Graham became co-anchor and wondered why she needed a man to give the newscasts with. I am not surprised he is still there when she was sacrificed. I am debating on whether to switch to CBC because of this and Carolyn Waldo being let go too. Two great news anchors fired? I looked forward to both of them and ask that Bellmedia reinstate her. Shame on you Bell for not caring what your viewers want.
