It has always been important to be that the person reading my evening news has a strong face in the community. Carol Anne has been that face. I understand the financial reasons but feel that CTV has made the wrong choice.

Richard Gray has got to be fired. He is firing staff with no justification and using the "financial loss" crap. I love Graham Richardson but he has no seignority over Carol Anne, Cory, Carolyn W., and so many others. A child can see the crap this anal retentive Gray is doing and playing favourites. Carol Anne is one of your biggest assesst in this business. Not only that she is amazing as an anchor--you choice leaves me dumbfounded and disappointed in a channel that I have been a part of for over 25 years. I understand change--it has it's ups and downs--but to lose this long standing and valuable anchor and person--is not a change for the better--Please reconsider

The CTV News will not be the same without Carol Anne Meehan. This is disgraceful and could Bell Media not have found another way of cutting costs. Just before Christmas too. I say we need to bring Carol Anne back.
