I am so upset it's hard to find the words to express how I feel. I will not support Bell Media in this decision - whoever made the decision should be let go - bad call!

What a way to treat your long serving, much loved employees! People come to know, love and trust the faces that they see every day, even if it is on their TV's! Shame on you!

As a child, I remember my parents watching Max and Carol Anne at 6:00 p.m. every night and I have continued the tradition. Carol Anne is an absolutely wonderful news anchor. Bell Media should be ashamed of themselves and without a doubt, reverse this deplorable decision immediately.

I am appalled at Bell Media for laying off Carol Anne Meehan who has been a dedicated news anchor for so many years at this TV station and who has given freely so much of her time for this community! Unless she is offered her job back, my family as well as my other followers will definitely be changing our station viewing for the news!....

Carol Ann Mehan has been a part of ottawa for SO many years, how disgusting and unfair that she was dismissed in such an awful thoughtless way! We as a city prayed when her husband was missing, and cried when we learned of his passing; she is family to many in our little city.. But that means nothing to any of them? Disgusting and in human! She's worked hard to provide for every one of us with what we all need to know every day. She deserves so much more than a mention by her co anchor, especially one that she has seinority over.. Dispicable and soulless, honestly seeing an all male news cast shows what Bell Media really stands for, I believe I will get my news from another outlet.. Very very sad!

Carol Anne has been a welcome presence in our home for so many years it just isn't right to "re-structure" her out.

Carol Ann Meahan deserves her job back as she is an excellent news anchor and a community leader, generously giving her time to many local causes. The question is, does she want it back after being treated so horribly? CTV will lose viewers over this and so they should!
