Not sure if this preposterous decision was made based on age or gender. Either way it's unacceptable to treat employees this way. Both Carol Anne and Carolyn were exceptionally good at their jobs. Thankfully we still have the CBC. For shame, CTV!!!

Carol Ann is a part of the Ottawa fabric. I am shocked and very disappointed that Bell Media is showing their lack of common sense and humanity. She's an incredible anchor and news woman!

Four years ago Carol Anne reported on the CTV Ottawa News about my 33 year teaching career in Carleton Place ending due to a breast cancer diagnosis. She choked back tears as she commented on the clip. Today I shed tears for her - she deserves better than what she has been given by CTV. Stay strong, Carole Anne. I have won my battle and I know you will win this one too.
