What a shock. I have enjoyed Carol Anne for years. She is the person who kept me watching CTV news at dinner time. CBC will probably have a larger viewing audience since it also entered the 6:00p.m. time slot. This girl s truly the valley's loss.

Please reinstate Carol Ann Meghan back to her position as anchor. She, and Carolyn Waldo are the the best of CTV Ottawa, and their dismissial is a great loss to our community.

Deplorable to treat a great lady this way..first when they hired Graham Richardson instead of given her the post that she deserved and now they booted her out the door.If Max was still alive he would not have stood for her to be treated this way.Never will watch News again

This is an unacceptable decision - Carol Anne Meehan is the true anchor for the CTV ottawa local news cast. She has earned her position with many years of dedicated service to the community. You have now lost this long time loyal viewer with this decision. CTV is no longer on my list of stations to watch - either for news or other programming.

This is insane she is the best female anchor in the area & I dare say the country. I have Bell TV but not much longer if this decision isn't overturned. Fire Matt Scoobie, he acts like a child most broadcasts!!

This is a shame. With the years of service that Ms Meehan has, and with the quality of her work and constant professionalism, Bell Media should have looked somewhere else for cuts. This is a sad day for Ottawa and surrounding areas!

She is a part of every family. You lose her you will lose a huge viewing audience. I for one will boycott bell media and make sure to share on fb daily. She has supported you immensely and this is how you treat her you should be ashamed!!!

i cannot believe this. Are the younger reporters that have been recently hired getting to stay on. Shame on you. carol Anne and Carolyn Waldo have been both so vital to this community.. I always watch the 6:00 news on CJOH, not anymore. CBC here I come.
