It is very sad that the large corporations are letting go the staff with the greatest knowledge....just to have a larger bottom line....when you loose your most knowledgeable staff you loose part of the organization as well.... I guess loyalty means nothing these days....

This is ageist... why didn't you just fire 3 or 4 of the dumb blonde "jiggle" reporters you seem to favour. Carol Anne represents all that is good about Ottawa Valley journalism.

She is an amazing anchor woman and your crazy if you let her go. I loved watching the news because of her and Graham. I'm now living in Toronto and miss seeing them on the news.

What a terrible thing to do to Carol Anne after 27 years of dedicated service. She should be honoured not let go.

Sinful!
Please get rid of yappy Leanne cusack who interrupts and talks over everyone she interviews.
Grahem Richardson shouts in his high pitched voice.
What are you thinking!
Bring back Carol Anne Meehan and bring some dignity and grace back to the supper hour.
Also do not put Katy and Mat together on the weekend news. They are both excellent by themselves but act like to love struck teenagers when on together

It saddens me that Bell media has stomped all over experience with out feeling that it has any consequence. My husband and I will take our viewing pleasure elsewhere due to our anger over this.

This was aweful. What a thankless way to let her go. She is one of ottawas community leaders and she gave 27 years to ctv !!! Even the announcement of her departure on ctv last night was just terrible !! No thanks for her outstanding work and dedication. Just that she was laid off.SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!
