I was shocked to hear that yesterday ! Graham Richardson is good too, but with Carol Ann, they were a "team" of professionals, that provided a top-quality news reporting. If Graham is by himself, he will simply not be up to giving us that same quality of reporting. If you don't hire her back, I know I will stop watching the news on CTV news, and I know the same goes for thousands of others. Hire her back !

Carol Anne and then Graham & Carol
Anne. Can't believe that she has been

Carol Anne has shown commitment and dedication to Ottawa and CTV. An unbelievable decision. They will lose many viewers. Why were only Carol Anne and Carolyn Waldo fired and none of their male counterparts?? Again unbelievable! !

I agree with another person who said this: "As a woman, I take offence at Ms. Meehan being laid off and the younger, less experienced male anchor keeping his position. How is this NOT misogyny? Please reconsider and bring Ms. Meehan back to her rightful place,"
On the other hand, Meehan MAY have wanted the layoff and I hope was consulted prior to the event. If not, then the above stands. If she was consulted and chose this layoff, my apologies to CTV.
