How can they fire Carol Anne Meehan who has been with the CTV News for decades and keep the relatively new Graham Richardson, who has only been there for 5 years? Unfair! Unfair! Bring her back, we miss her already.

I watched the 6:00pm News because I liked the way Carol Anne Mehan was hosting it.. She cares about the community. Please bring her back. CTV will never be the same without her. Some very competent people were let go.

27 years with the same employer. I think they refer to that as loyalty. Loyalty to a corporate family and the Ottawa area community. I will be watching CBC from today forward after 50 years of CJOH/CTV. Pathetic.

Bell Media, of all the people to let go, Carol Ann, who has been part of our supper time for almost 3 decades..Are you all crazy...Admit your error about letting her go and bring her back.

Bring Carol Anne Meehan back! She was the face of your Ottawa newscast and after 27 years of her coming into my house each night she was Family and trusted. Without her I will - like many others tuning into another station (that is not Bell associated) to get my news!

Wow, so much for seniority! That woman has worked there far longer than Graham Richardson! It is disturbing that ageism is alive and well at Bell Media, you have lost a former loyal veiwer!

It is a big mistake, in my opinion to lay off such a calibre of person as Carol Anne Meehan.

How could you possibly let Carol Anne go? She is the face of CTV Ottawa!! You need to reconsider this decision.
