Carol Anne is respected individual within the community and someone we have grown to love and consider as family. It's extremely disturbing to see an organization treat someone with such disrespect after they have dedicated so much of their life to Bell Media's family.
I'm sure there are monetary reasons for making this decision however I do not agree with them.
I do know one this for sure... I will NOT be watching Graham Richardson.

Listened to her newscasts at home and in my car. Very disappointed will miss hearing her deliver the news. Hope they reconsider. Terrible the way Bell treated her on the last day not even letting her say goodbye to her viewers.

Carol Ann is the face of CTV News Ottawa, a community leader, giving of her time to so many causes. Max will be turning in his grave at this travesty. Shame on your decision to let her go. CBC has gained many new viewers now!

Carol Ann was the best thing about the CJOH News - I'm not sure we will be watchers of the news from now on. Her warmth and integrity was evident as well as her commitment to our community. Bell should admit they were wrong and re-hire Carol Ann.

Bring her back! CTV needs more unbiased reporters like her. Too many of the existing reporters sound more like Liberal supporters than unbiased journalists. Ottawans wants and needs Carol Anne on the nightly news.
