Carol Anne is the reason we have always watched CTV news!! I am just disgusted with this news. Have watched her for decades. Now that Max is no longer with us, she is our true anchor and must be reinstated immediately.

She worked for 27 years for them and within minutes from receiving her pink slip there was no trace of her existence. (Pictures and Bio...just gone). Seriously? Did she do something to deserve that treatment and don't forget the way they treated Caroline Waldo as well, gold, silver and bronze medalist for Canada. These 2 ladies deserve more respect. Shameful.
Glad I do not use anything Bell anymore.

You have lost me as a viewer of nearly 35 years because of this decision. Graham Richardson is a nice guy but Carol Anne is the face of the Ottawa region. Please reconsider your decision.

Carol Ann was what made the news worth watching. She was the face of CTV news. This was an awful way to treat a loyal employee of 27 years... another 3 years and she could have retired on her own and given the proper sendoff she so richly deserves. Shame on Bell Media, you should reverse this terrible decision. A lot of your viewers will go elsewhere, including me.
