Carol Anne brought compassion and warmth to the news. Now it's just a stiff guy reading a teleprompter. Carol Anne has been an avid supporter of the Ottawa valley and deserves better than this despicable treatment by Bell Media. Now there are no women on the news at 6 and that is not acceptable.

R u seriously telling me you are willing to give up one of the best Canadian anchor women in the world of television, what the hell is going on with your minds, have you no clue, radio and t.v. Are better told live and not prerecorded... If we want to listen to a tape cassette, we'll take out our old getto boxes..

I don't usually take sides in broadcasting, we have two great players in Ottawa, but with Carol Ann, Bell has Blown it, with a very poor decision, for Broadcasting in Ottawa, for the viewers in Ottawa, For Bell as a good and fair organization and for the viewers in Ottawa. Wake up, Ma Bell, you need all the good will you can get!

I think that the part about this that burns me the most is that they (Carol Anne and Ms. Waldo) never had a chance to say farewell. That is not the way to do business in this community. Just because you own the airwaves doesn't mean we don't get to hear our community speak- and they are leaders of our community. Shame.
