She has been on the TV since I can remember watching. My parents had the 6pm News on every night and still do.

no more ctv eve news for me.
she had seniority over graham so why let HER go, she is much more personnable than he is...
and i dont at all like the way she was'discarded' , VERY UNPROFESSIONAL , DISRESPECTFUL AND IN POOR TASTE on the part of bell media !

One of the most personable people on the evening news. You have taken the local out of the news - the reason why people like myself watch this news broadcast as opposed to your competitors. Will not be watching CTV news anymore, one can get the news anywhere - I watched it for the local people who made sense of it.

I really wonder if they are thinking of hiring a new, youthful woman to replace her. Bell Media ought to think twice about doing that in this social climate.

What's the plan to replace her with a US anchor or local news altogether? What about keeping our local jobs? It's awful how big companies just throw away their senior staff to save a few bucks.

Why not get ride of Craig Oliver for his slanderous remarks about the right honourable Stephan Harper, or Robert Fife, or most obnoxious Lisa Laflamme? But Carol Anne? For what ? Her Kindness her professionalism,the fact that she is loved by the audience? So sad that BELL MEDIA has this power! We use to have a great country with quality people.

I love Carol Anne and I look forward to watching the 6 o'clock news because of her. She is also a wonderful role model and giver of our community. It's very disappointing to think we will not have her in our living rooms at 6 pm. Plus she has been with CTV for 27 years , she deserves better than what she got.
