A very short-sighted decision on the part of Bell-Media. She is family to so many people who have watched CTV News and excellent at her job. The decision makers responsible for this obviously did not look at the big picture - just the proverbial bottom line. Big Mistake! The bottom line will now suffer with less viewers and hopefully advertisers leaving. Bell-Media needs to bring her back to mitigate the damage a.s.a.p..

I have been watching the ctv news daily for years. Very sad to see you let two key anchors go. Your news has been successful because you include people who do a lot in the community. I wonder how many viewers these cuts will cost you.

I find it absolutely disgusting, that they would rid the selves of Carol Anne Meehan, in such a manner. I firmly believe that all those let go, should have been, notified. Would they have let Steve Madley in such a callous manner!
