What a shock! Carol Anne was a big part of the best news teams that I have ever watched. Her contributions to the news hour and the community deserved far better treatment. This decision is outrageous especally in light of Bell Media making a profit of $183 million last year!! Shame on Bell Media.

Carol Anne was CTV news, she should have been the anchor when Max left. Graham is just a suit. Carol Anne and Michael O'Byrne were well suited to each other and should have been our news team, not some unknown from Toronto. Bring her back.

Hasn't she been sitting in that anchor chair longer than Graham Richardson????? She is a well known, respected journalist. Please reconsider and return her to the position she earned and has faithfully carried out.

This is disgraceful. Carol Anne has been the face of Ottawa news for 27 years. She has devoted her life to it and this is what she gets in return. She's not just a news anchor, she is family to those who watch her and such a huge part of the community. Big mistake Bell Media.

Sad day to be loosing such dedicated Anchor woman & also Carolyn Waldo. They're the biggest part of the 6 o'clock news. I could think of allot more people they could of let go. We lost Max Keeping now her thanks Bell. Dèja Vue 1993 with Eaton's major shifting.

Max Keeping must be turning over in his grave! Carol Anne Meehan is a long-time co-anchor and for Bell Media to let her go after all she's done for this community is incomprehensible. She and Carolyn Waldo have been welcome additions in many homes and many of us are outraged by these cuts. Bell Media, you seriously need to reconsider.

Although Ottawa is a large city, it has a small town feeling. Carol Anne fits perfectly into her role delivering news to our community. She was raised in and lives in the area. It is not all about money. Do the right thing!
