Seriously, what is wrong with you people, someone who has such dedication to their job and to the community, and you let her go without even letting her say goodbye let alone losing her job, you robbed her of that. So much for employee appreciation for all the year's she gave. What were you thinking??? You may find out in the long run, you are the one's with the greatest loss!

A very poor decision made by people who have NO local knowledge of Ms. Meehan's value our community. She deserve more than that. Very sad to see her gone :-(

Was very shocked and saddened to hear this news and cannot understand how this decision was made. Money? In the long run you will loose viewers...is it worth that? Carol Anne is one of reasons we and so many others watch CTV news every day! Everyone seemed to work well together on air almost like friends and now there is a huge gap. It was sad watching the news last night without her there! Please reverse this decision. You are going to loose many viewers over this. We will also be rethinking our Bell services in the future.

I'm shocked that Carol Anne would be let go so summarily without warning. She has done a great job as anchor and as community liaison. As a long standing new anchor, she does not deserve this kind of treatment.
